As a private members’ club and one of only 65 clubs globally to hold the prestigious “Royal” title, RMGC offers its members and guests unparalleled amenities and event facilities within a unique, historical setting.

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and results-driven Sales and Marketing Manager to lead our sales, marketing, and retail operations. This key position will focus on driving membership growth, boosting green fee sales, promoting equipment rentals, increasing retail shop revenue, and managing event facility bookings. The ideal candidate will be proactive and creative, with a strong passion for elevating RMGC’s market presence in the golfing and event sectors.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to grow RMGC’s memberships, green fees, rentals, retail shop sales, and event bookings.
  • Lead initiatives to drive new memberships, renewals, and retention through targeted campaigns and promotions.
  • Increase green fees, rentals, retail sales, and event bookings through strategic outreach.
  • Manage and motivate a small team to meet RMGC’s sales and marketing goals, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Establish partnerships with tourism boards, hotels, and other relevant organizations to position RMGC as a leading golfing and event destination.
  • Develop digital and social media marketing strategies, including website content management, email campaigns, and social media engagement.
  • Coordinate with RMGC’s sub-contractors (catering and PGA Pro) to ensure quality and alignment with marketing objectives.
  • Prepare and present regular reports and sales analysis to RMGC management.

The ideal candidate will :

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred but not essential.
  • Experience: Proven experience in sales and marketing, ideally within the sports, hospitality, or leisure industry.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and CRM systems.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results oriented.
