I would just like to say a big thank you for all the players from any of the home nations and France and Sweden for making the events so memorable. It is a wonderful way to socialise and network, and surprising how much ‘shop’ is talked at the appropriate time.
It has been very busy, with thousands of miles travelled so far. I still have six regions to visit plus the Past Captains’ Dinner at Ganton GC.
Recent visits have included the Northern Region at Dunstanburgh Castle GC with its spectacular views on the back nine, with a small but friendly and informative meeting preceding the golf, and the Fairway Credit Finals at the Marriott Forest of Arden H&CC in wonderful condition with superb hospitality to all competitors from the Fairway Credit team.
Well done to the London and Home Counties team of John Douglass and Terry Jackson in winning the team event.
