The Club:
Morecambe Golf Club was founded in 1905. The course was designed by Dr Alister MacKenzie and still retains its original characteristics. Located on the coast in Morecambe, the course enjoys stunning views across Morecambe Bay to the Lake District. We are an England Golf Championship venue having successfully hosted the Girls Championships in 2021, the Lancashire Boys Championships this year and next year we are hosting the Regional Finals of England Golf’s “Race to Woodhall Spa” in May 2025.
We are looking to appoint an experienced and forward-thinking manager to lead the club on its journey post covid and to cement its future as a great golfing venue providing excellent service to members, their guest and to visiting parties. Our staff are ready to be taken to the next level under the leadership of a dynamic manager.

The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible to the board of directors for:-
- Delivering cost effective support services to club members,
- Successfully promoting and enhancing the club’s reputation as both a golfing and hospitality venue,
- Leading and managing a committed team of staff
- Forging good working relationships with the club professional and greens team
The Person:
The successful candidate must be a good communicator and committed team player with experience in golf club management.
- He/she will have a positive presence and welcoming personality to be front facing when required within the club.
- He/she will be flexible with their working hours to meet the operational demands of the role.
- He/she will be capable of both empathy and strong leadership skills.
- He/she will be able to operate calmly in demanding situations.

Remuneration :
The competitive salary will depend on experience.
