How did you get into golf club management?
In 1997, in New Brunswick, Canada, I’d just been made redundant from a job in food and beverage. I’d been managing a division of a large company with 300 employees, and different types of venues. I started doing some consulting work. I was called to a golf club that was losing $110,000 a year on their food and beverage department. I looked at it and identified the issues they were having.
