England Golf are offering a 30% discount for GCMA members to attend their sustainability event in September.
England Golf are excited to announce, in conjunction with The Transformation Tour, their first national sustainability in golf conference.
Taking place on September 10th, at The National Golf Centre, Woodhall Spa, this event is designed to showcase the opportunities golf possesses to become more sustainable, while providing a platform to collaborate across the industry on future plans.

We will meander through four pillars on the day: Problems, Progress, Potential and Partnerships, with a mixture of keynotes and panels, allowing a deeper focus on key issues facing the golf industry, and the options we have to accelerate the process of mitigating them.
We will use the pillars to explore four key areas, with a panel of industry experts, national advisors and stakeholders from within and outside of golf:
Panel 1 – Beginning with Biodiversity
- What is golf doing to be better for Nature, and how can we increase this to prevent further land-use pressures
Panel 2 – Winning with Water
- Arguably the biggest issue in golf, where, and how, are we going to source water from for irrigation in the future?
Panel 3 – Golf: Everyone’s Game
- How are we making golf more accessible, and what barriers do we need to break down to accelerate this?
Panel 4 – Innovation in the Game
How is tech going to help our cause?
This will be followed by a course walk around the SSSI Hotchkin course, before an innovation showcase and informal drinks reception, allowing delegates to hear directly from suppliers in the game, while discussing future collaborations.
The cost is £80 per person (before the discount is applied), this will include a light breakfast, refreshments throughout the day, a buffet lunch and access to the evening drinks reception.

Sustainability Showcase
We will be inviting contributors to host a space, within the conference room, to display their business and its options to help golf become more sustainable.
