Why did you join the GCMA?
I was new to the industry and thought it was essential to join the association to further my knowledge.
What are the benefits of membership?
Being able to tap into the vast experience of the GCMA team and its members. Being able to access information that helps to inform decision-making.
Have you attended any GCMA events and what did you think of them?
I attended the regional spring meeting and it was a very useful day. We ended up employing the services of one of the presenters at the event!
Has GCMA membership created networking opportunities for you?
It has definitely created some and I would like to be able to attend more events to benefit from those opportunities even more.
What does the GCMA do well?
The GCMA brings together managers of multiple and varied golf clubs in a community that is happy to share information and give advice despite technically being rivals.
What would you say to encourage others to join?
Even if you are not a big networker, being part of the GCMA gives you access to valuable information and insights.
