Tom Brooke, GCMA chief executive, said: “Club Managers and their teams have produced some incredible results over the past two years under extremely challenging circumstances and we were overwhelmed by the quality of entries for the GCMA Manager of the Year Awards in every category.
“A common theme of the nominations, though, is not just the work and leadership by individuals and teams over the past two years, but some exceptional performances and commitment for a number of years before that time as well.
“It is a testament to our members and the high regard they are held in by their colleagues and by those at their clubs. It has been wonderful to hear about the fantastic work that’s going on around the UK.
“Producing a list of nominees was not an easy process and finding the winners will be even more difficult. Everyone who has been nominated should feel proud and good luck at the gala dinner to all who have been shortlisted.”
